The stainless steel nitrogen filled gas struts that we use on our hinges are of the highest quality for years of uncompromised performance. They are available in various strengths to accommodate a wide variety of hood weights. All of our hinges are supplied with a strut that we have pre-determined through our R&D process to be the correct pressure rating. In cases where your application is different or unusual, notify us and we will be happy to supply you with the appropriate strut for your use.
