These lights are direct replacement units and offer simple plug-in installation with no drilling, cutting of splicing of wires. The LED's are waterproof and virtually unaffected by shock and vibration. They are rated for 100,000 hours of operation and come with a limited life-time warranty. These taillights are equipped with an integrated selector switch which gives you the option of having them sequentially flash from inside out or outside in or simultaneously. The lights also include a brake attention mode which, when engaged, rapidly flashes the stop light for an instance.
